I can't believe it has taken me this long to start blogging about the adventures of my crazy family.
We've moved, again, to Texas! Life in Colorado was amazing. Our family has grown in so many ways over the past two years. Finally feeling like we're settling in from the move. I am trying to find ways to occupy my time and get into a routine with my somewhat quiet days.
The first week of school is well under way. I've already gotten the "Mrs. Turner, your child is running a fever and needs to be picked up," phone call this week! Everyone is well and back to school, thankfully the fever lasted about 24 hours. I thought it was nerves about starting a new school. I felt so bad.
Miles and Taylor are Seventh Graders in a "real" middle school. They both opted to play in the school band. Miles is learning the Clarinet and Taylor is taking up the Trombone. The boys are still interested in playing the piano and will begin lessons as soon as I can find a teacher. Emma will start piano lessons this year too.
We are still looking into what sports they will participate in, Miles thought he would play on the school football team; but he wanted to play in Band instead. The boys are interested in going out for Basketball in the Winter or Track in the Spring. We have so many options to choose from now we're in the big city.
Emma is excited to ride the bus this year. She loves eating lunch in the cafeteria. I can't believe she is in Second Grade! I can't wait to hear about all of her new friends and to volunteer with the school.
I have lots of free time now, I'm not sure what to do with myself. Look for more posts and lots of news from the Lone Star State!
